The tweeters use 3 levels of attenuation, and work with the external crossovers for the clearest possible audio. In addition to OEM adapter plates for mounting in a variety of spaces, DDC tweeter mounting allows for an even clamping pressure around the perimeter of the mounting hole. This makes installation easier, and prevents possible distortion due to an uneven mount. The Flex Fit basket uses a slot mounted frame pattern, allowing fine-tuning of each speaker's mounting position and on-axis or off-axis tweeter configuration. PTC protection uses a bypass resistor in the tweeters, creating a 100% run-time without cutoffs.
