The Rockford Fosgate P1000-1bd is a Class-bd Mono Amplifier for subwoofers in car audio systems. Capable of a full 1000 Watts of power output and a 1-ohm capability, this dedicated low frequency amplifier can drive a pair of 4-ohm DVC subwoofers or four separate 2-ohm DVC subwoofers.

As a Class-bd amplifier it has a 75-80% efficiency ratings, making it much more energy efficient than traditional A/B class amplifiers. High quality differential inputs work to eliminate noise picked up by input cables, eliminating a possible source of interference. Full RCA passthrough is possible, but for those using other kinds of speaker connections wire gauges from 8 to 18 AWG are supported.
