The Pyle Audio PLX572 are a pair of 5.0” x 7.0” 2-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a Polypropylene woofer cone. The sixth model in the Pyle Audio Wave series, the PLX572 competes with the PLG57.2 from the Gear X series and the PLRL572 from the Red Alert series.

The PLX572 offers a reduced peak power output of 180w (versus 240/200w) and lowered nominal output of 90w (versus 120w/100w). The PLX572, however, does feature the PLRL572’s 1” Mylar dome tweeter and 50Hz-20kHz frequency response. All four models include a 1” hi-temp enhanced voice coil, a rubber boot magnet cover, and a custom grill. The Pyle Audio PLX572 is priced at $52.50, making it slightly cheaper than the $57.50 PLG57.2.
