Pyle Audio PLWB125
$90.00
Released September, 2004
The Pros:Capable of very deep bass, really captures the low-end. Plenty of power output for mobile DJ applications. Stays clear even when pushed to the max.
The Cons:Needs careful, sturdy mounting or it will shake the box apart. Needs a fairly powerful amp to drive it, won't work without one.
The Pyle Audio PLWB125 is a 12" car subwoofer from Pyle's Blue Wave Series. The subwoofer is designed with a non-pressed paper cone, chrome stamped basket, chrome magnet cover, and chrome gasket.

It features a 2" high temperature voice coil with 4-ohms impedance to give 800 watts of peak power handling. The only difference between this model and Pyle's PLWB128 and PLWB12D is the impedance since the PLWB128 has single 8-ohms impedance and the PLWB12D has dual 4-ohms impedance.
