The Pyle Audio PLW12DREN are a pair of 12” die-cast Aluminum DVC subwoofers built from a red special treated Polypropylene cone. Standing proud by itself, the PLW12DREN is unlike any other woofer offered by Pyle Audio.

It features a specially treated foam edge suspension, a 2.5” 4-layer dual voice coil, Allen Key connection terminals, red powder coat insets, and a whopping 2000w peak power output. In addition, the PLW12DREN competes with the  2400w PLCHW12 from the Chopper series and the 3200w PLD12WD from the Dryver series. Despite its weaker power output, the PLW12DREN is retailed at an increased price of $169.40 (versus $110.40, $162.80) primarily due to its highly durable Aluminum frame. The Pyle Audio PLW12DREN is considered a solid choice for consumers willing to sacrifice some power in favor of a more durable, long-lasting, and higher-quality woofer.
