Pyle Audio PLW10RD

The Pyle Audio PLW10RD are a pair of 10” subwoofers built from a red CD wave electro-plated Polypropylene cone. The first model in the Red Label series, the PLW10RD is in fact an exact duplicate of the PLW12BL from the Blue Label series.

The only difference between the two models is that the PLW10RD is red versus blue. The PLW10RD maintains all of the PLW12BL’s specifications such as a 300w nominal power output, 600w peak power output, and 87.7dB sensitivity. In addition, both models feature a 1.5” hi-temp Kapton voice coil, a bumped/vented extended pole piece, and a wide Butyl rubber surround. The PLW10RD also competes with the much more powerful 1000w PLPNW10, 1200w PLSQ10D, and 1400w PLCHW10. The Pyle Audio PLW10RD is priced at $36.00, the same as the PLW12BL, but approximately $50 less expensive than its formidable aforementioned competitors.
