Pyle Audio PLG6.2

The Pyle Audio PLG6.2 are a pair of 6.5” 2-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers manufactured from a yellow colored poly injected cone. An upgrade from its 4” and 5.25” inch peers (the PLG4.2 and PLG5.2), the PLG6.2 offers a much improved maximum power output (240w versus 140w), increased nominal power output (120w versus 70w), and superior frequency (65Hz-20kHz versus 80/90dB-20kHz).

The PLG6.2, however, maintains its predecessors’ .5” Neodymium dome tweeter, hi-temp aluminum voice coil, rubber magnet cover, yellow coated steel basket, and extremely resilient capacitor. The Pyle Audio PLG6.2, due to its larger size and power capacity, is priced approximately $15 over its competitors, at $50 for one pair (two speakers included).
