In fact, the PLA2260 is one of the most powerful two-channel amplifiers offered Pyle Audio. Its only competitor is the 4000w PLA2850 from the Gear X series. The PLA2260 is slightly less inexpensive at $328.85 (versus $331.23) because it lacks the PLA2850’s remote bass boost, Hi/Low impedance input, and illuminated top panel. The PLA2260, however, does feature a sub-sonic filter, thermal overload short-circuit protection, a MOSFET PWN power supply, and an ultra slim design for simplified installation into a vehicle.
