The Pioneer TS-W3001 is a Premier 12" Champion Series Pro subwoofer capable of handling a maximum of 3000 Watts power and 1000 Watts nominally(RMS). This sub comes in two versions, TS-W3001 D2 Dual 2 ohm voice coil or TS-W3001 D4 Dual 4 ohm voice coil which means you can use a low impedance amp to produce more powerful bass as well as run them in different voice coil configurations depending on the ohm load.

The 7 lb double-stacked magnet assembly comes with a double-stacked top plate above and like the Shallow Series, an Air Suspension System is employed to produce sound by trapping air between the main drive cones as opposed to the traditional 'spider' design. This also reduces the overall size, enabling more mounting options.
