The Pros:Fits really well in smaller spaces. Bass response is smooth and low. Great output capability--can play at very high volumes with no distortion.
The Cons:Bass can be too powerful without a proper head unit to tone it down.
The Pioneer TS-SW3041D is a 12" shallow mount subwoofer with a mounting depth of 3-1/4"(less than half of a typical sub in this class). This allows for wider mounting possibilities in different vehicles.
