Pioneer TS-G6842R

The mid-range/high-range TS-G6842R from Pioneer was released January 7th 2004 and sports an IMPP cone woofer designed to be stronger and lighter than other materials. The larger cone and deeper magnetic structure is meant to improve the bass response.

The speakers are equipped with 1 3/16 inch film cone tweeters intended to reproduce high end ranges with better accuracy. An Aramid fiber damper and the neodymium magnet are built to deliver better power handling and deeper bass. The 4 ohm rated speakers have a 30 watt nominal output and a maximum output of 180 watts. The device has cut out dimensions of 7 ½ inches by 5 ¼ inches with a mounting depth of 2 5/16 inches.
