The Pros:Installation is easy, no special requirements for the wiring. Can be used with stock stereo and no extra amplifier. Sized perfectly for factory mounts, should screw right in.
The Cons:Low end is somewhat lacking, need a subwoofer to flesh it out properly. Not enough upper middle frequency representation for audiophiles.
The Pioneer TS-G1642R two way speakers, released to the market in June of 2003, are designed with 1 3/16 inch balanced dome tweeters and IMPP cone woofers. The IMPP is meant to deliver strength and improved sensitivity.

The sensitivity rating for this device is 90 dB and the structure has a shallow depth of 1 5/8 inches. The balanced dome tweeters are equipped with a Neodymium Magnet and an Aramid fiber damper designed to improve handling of higher power and bass frequencies. Nominal power output is 30 watts with a maximum of 160 watts.
