In addition, the TS-A6992R is the first speaker in the Pioneer TS A series to offer a total of 3 tweeters, versus the 1 and 2 tweeter models in the past. It includes a 1.8252” (versus the TS-A6982R ‘s 1.8125”) light weight balanced midrange dome, a 1.1875” film cone tweeter, plus one .4375” supertweeter and one .375” supertweeter. The Pioneer TS-A6982R also comes equipped with a speaker grille, an aramid fiber dome, and glass-imid voice coil bobbins.
