Pioneer TS-A1782R

The Pioneer TS-A1782R are a pair of 6.75” 4-way car-audio loudspeakers composed out of interlaced dual Aramid fibers designed in a composite IMPP cone. An upgrade from the 5.25” TS-A1372R, the TS-A1782R offers an increased maximum music power of 280w (versus 200w), a lower frequency response of 35Hz-28kHz (versus 35Hz-31kHz), and an improved sensitivity of 91dB (versus 89dB).

The TS-A1782R also sports a 1.5” (versus 1.25”) lightweight balanced soft dome midrange, a .625” (versus .375”) tweeter, and a .375” supertweeter (no supertweeter included in the TS-A1372R). In addition, the TS-A1782R includes additional features such as a custom-fit basket designed chiefly for GM/Chrysler automobiles, a 3-hole Chrysler adapter, and a mounting depth of 2.5”. Due to the inclusion of more features, the Pioneer TS-A1782R is priced at $109.95, versus $79.95 for the TS-A1372R.
