Unlike other models in the TS-A series, the TS-A1072R sports a relatively small 4” frame, not to mention a .9375” light balanced midrange dome and a .375” soft dome tweeter. In addition, the TS-A1072R maintains a high frequency of 40Hz-30kHz and a nominal power handling of 20w. Although much weaker than its opponents, the TS-A1072R is still considered an excellent choice due to its highly affordable MSRP price of $65.95, versus its $90 and $130 peers. Furthermore, the Pioneer TS-A1072R still includes classic TS-A features such as glass-imide voice coil bobbins, foam rubber coated cloth surrounds, and shallow baskets for wider installation coverage.
