Kicker Solo-Baric L7 15

$260.00 Released January, 1992

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Installation is very easy, fits a box perfectly. Enough power to shake the car and activate alarms. Can wire them to 2 or 4 ohm impedance, work with a good variety of amps.

The Cons:Bass is just too powerful for audiophiles, tends to overwhelm the sound. When not used with the right amp they can sound very muddy and distorted.

The Kicker Solo-Baric L7 15 is a 15” subwoofer noted for revolving around a ‘breakthrough’ SoloKon, a one-piece & injected-molded cone with full-coverage back bracing that pushes more air and therefore creates louder bass than a typical subwoofer.

The largest of four Kicker Solo-Baric L7 subwoofers, the Kicker Solo-Baric L7 S15L7 is the 15” version of its peers (the 8” S8L7, 10” S10L7, and 12” L12L7). In addition to maintaining a larger frame, the S15L7 pumps out an improved 2000w maximum power output, while also offering a wider 18Hz-100Hz frequency response. Plus, the S15L7 sports dual high-temp voice coils, poly-cotton semi-progressive spider, Spiralead tinsel-lead technology, and a highly-efficient UniPlate pole-piece/back plate. The S15L7 also comes equipped with a distinctive cast-aluminum basket with spring-loaded terminals that wraps around and protects the ‘inner workings’ of this powerful unit. The Kicker Solo-Baric L7 S15L7 retails for $259.99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
