Kicker CompVX CVX10
$160.00
Released January, 2006
The Pros:Made with heavy-duty materials, can handle a lot of stress and keep going. Looks very cool with lots of detail and some shine in just the right places. Audio is high quality, lots of detail and clarity.
The Cons:Bulky design, need to account for the space needed to install it. Takes a couple of weeks to break in before it sounds right.

The CVX10 also includes high-temp Polyimide film dual voice coils, a heat reducing t-cut top plate, and a ribbed/stitched Santroprene surround for linear cone motion. In addition, the CVX10 features a silver-coated stamped steel basket, perimeter venting, and a rear cone brace designed to offer additional structural integrity and resistance to deformation. The Kicker CompVX CVX10 is priced at $159.99. Although expensive, critics cite the CVX10 as a relatively affordable subwoofer considering its ability to distribute ground-shaking thumps that can potentially rock an entire neighborhood.
