Kicker CompVR CVR10
$130.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:High volume output, enough to shake the rearview mirror. Deliver a smooth, deep bass tone. Ideal for "thumping" bass, built to hit hard.
The Cons:Voice coil clips overly spaced. Tends to heat up after prolonged use. Sound is somewhat "boomy", lacks precision.

The CompVR line boasts an efficient top-plate design, strong dual voice coils and a motor structure designed to handle more power. The ribbed Santoprene surround adds to the strength of the CVR10 while the injection-molded cone plus 360 back bracing and aluminized coating helps eliminate any flex. It includes a high temperature wire to handle the heat transfer from the power. The CVR10 is one of the smaller of the CVR lines, and therefore cannot deliver the same kind of power. Because of this, it is a little cheaper.
