The tweeters can be mounted either flush with the automotive interior door frame or can be just mounted on the surface. Each individual TR650-CSi speaker is made up of a high quality polypropylene cone body, and is injection-molded, mica-filled, has a flat-profile/ symmetrical-roll spider, and is surrounded with a butyl rubber surround material. Special features include a textile dome tweeter body shape complete with an integral phase plug, a neodymium magnet, and each speaker is ferrofluid cooled and damped. The JL Audio TR650-CSi speaker set currently has no listed release date and has an MSRP of $249.99.
