The speakers are designed to provide smooth quality sound and a balanced output at audio levels above 60Hz. Each individual TR525-CXi speaker is made up of a high quality polypropylene cone body, and is injection-molded, mica-filled, has a flat-profile/ symmetrical-roll spider, and is surrounded with a butyl rubber surround material. Special features include a textile dome tweeter body shape complete with an integral phase plug, a ferrite and ceramic material magnet, and each speaker is ferrofluid cooled and damped. The JL Audio TR525-CXi 5.25" speaker set currently has no listed release date and has an MSRP of $129.99.
