The 124.7W differs from the 122.7W in that it offers a reduced sensitivity of 90dB (versus 92dB), but it offers a selectable impedance of 2 or 8 ohms (versus 1 or 4 ohms). The 124.7W, however, does feature 3” voice coils for increased thermal handling, a Neodymium motor with an aluminum heatsink that better focuses magnetic energy in a more compact space, and a medium Q design constructed for greater performance in sealed environments. The Infinity KAPPA124.7W is priced at $199.99, the same as the 122.7W.
