The Infinity KAPPA 102.7W is a 10” selectable-impedance subwoofer with a woven glass-fiber cone designed to be extremely stiff, thereby reducing distortion and offering improved clarity. Unlike the first four amplifiers in the KAPPA series, the 102.7W ditches their variable Q design in favor of a medium Q design developed to perform well in sealed, vented, or bandpass enclosures.

The 102.7W also comes equipped with a Neodymium motor with an aluminum heatsink that provides additional magnetic energy while also reducing overall weight. The 102.7W, however, supports a reduced nominal power handling of 350w and peak power handling of 1400w. The Infinity KAPPA 102.7W is priced at $179.95, $10-$20 less than the 12DVQ/VQ, and $10-$20 greater than the 10DVQ/VQ.
