Cadence FX8m8

The Cadence FX8m8 is a slim profile 8 inch midrange driver for mobile audio systems. This is virtually identical to the Cadence FX8m4, but uses an 8 Ohm impedance to prevent more powerful amplifiers from blowing out the driver.

This is also similar to the Cadence FX6m8, but built larger, with more power, and a slightly wider frequency range. Up to 250 Watts of peak power is recommended with 125 wants of RMS power. Vibrations are generated by a 90 oz magnet structure weight and an oversized 1.5 inch high temperature CCAR voice coil. These combine to create a wide 100 Hz to 11 Khz frequency range, covering the midrange and the midbass. This driver has a 2.6 inch mound depth, which is slim enough to fit in most car and truck doors. A high tinsel steel basket and prewired bass blocking capacitor improve audio quality by reducing distortion and vibrations.
