Cadence FX6m4

The Cadence FX6m4 is a 6 inch midrange driver for mobile audio systems. This speaker is designed to deliver good quality sound at high volumes and cover the midrange to midbass, and is commonly paired with dedicated bass drivers for a complete sound.

Peak power handling is 150 watts, with 75 watts RMS. This covers the 125Hz-10KHz frequency range, allowing for some bass with the midrange coverage. The audio is delivered by a 60 oz magnet structure working with 1.5 inch high temperature CCAR voice coils. A high tinsel steel basket works to reduce distortion, and a bass blocking capacitor prevents vibrations from outside the unit's frequency range from interfering. Durability is enhanced by Kevlar reinforcement, and an optional wire mesh grill protects the speaker from impacts. The shallow mounting depth allows these drivers to be installed in door installations or other tight locations.
