It outputs the same 150W RMS as the circular 8" models, but may fit more easily in certain compact vehicles. The driver also features a lower frequency response range than the company's other models, hitting 40Hz rather than 100Hz at the low end. It features a one-piece cast-aluminum basket construction, with standard nickel-plated terminals and a butyl rubber surround. The 8" CVL-84MB, however, features a higher-quality, glass-fiber cone.
