Alpine SWR-1522D

The Alpine SWR-1522D is a 15 inch Type-R subwoofer. This speaker can handle 2000 Watts of power at the peak end due to the size and exclusive cooling technologies. The high wattage allows for loud, clear audio in the 18Hz to 400Hz range.

A 4-layer Dual Voice coil works to translate signals without distortion. The pulp fiber body is reinforced with Kevlar, increasing its durability and adding some resonance. Mounting is handled with a durable cast aluminum frame that is designed to allow heat to vent from the sides. Connections are made with an 8 gauge push terminal, and a Banana Plug Jumper is also available.
