Alpine SPR-17S

The Alpine SPR-17S is a set of Type-R speakers built for clarity of sound even at high volumes. The set consists of 2 tweeters, 2 woofers, and 2 crossovers to individually address various frequency ranges for higher quality audio, covering a total frequency response range of 65Hz to 27kHz.

A total of 330 Watts of peak power can be sent to the system, and the low 4 Ohm impedance lets it work to maximum capacity with a wider variety of amplifiers. The ring type tweeters use resonance absorbers and a magnet design built to absorb distortion, allowing for clear representation of upper range frequency sounds. The woofers generate low frequencies with a linear drive using a high grade Strontium magnet and a square-wire short voice coil. These are reinforced by a Kevlar dustcamp and a rigid cast aluminum frame, and a mounting adapter kit is included.
