Alpine SPR-13C
$180.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Highs and mids are exceptionally clear at all volumes. Bass is significantly cleaner than many similar products, no muddiness or shaking. Overall distortion is minimal at any volume.
The Cons:Cannot operate in parallel with any other tweeters. Bass frequencies lack power and most users are likely to want a dedicated subwoofer in addition to these.
The Alpine SPR-13C is a set of 5-1/4”, 2-way coaxial speakers engineered as a direct upgrade from the SPS-500. It includes an upgraded design with enhanced detail and sound reproduction, Alpine’s exclusive Linear Drive Motor for greater bass, and resonance absorbers for a smooth, wider-range frequency response.
